Dhruv Gulabchande

Dhruv Gulabchande is a registered Architect based in London, UK. With eight years of professional practice experience, he is now an Associate Director and Architect at HFM Architects, leading multiple design-led public realm projects within the retail sector.

Having studied at both Westminster and Greenwich, with each commission he brings a narrative construct which ultimately influences his design work.

2020-21 Dhruv worked as assistant Tutor of Studio 99 at the University of Brighton, focussing on new mediums of storytelling looking at high rise, high-tech modes of expression.  He currently holds a studio tutor role at The University of Sheffield.

Dhruv also leads Narrative Practice, an architectural mentoring, design and research platform with the stance that all spatial form is composed of social narrative. The studio aims to engage in architectural discourse through Chai Talks, provides worldwide complimentary tutoring through the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and his current body of research work is based around providing new residential housing to infill sites within Victorian era terraced housing in South London.
