Joyful Benches: Oranges, Lemons and Bells!
We’re so happy to share our SWC designs for a collection of benches created to be placed around the City of London. Our intention with this collection was to bring joy back to the heart of the city!
Responding to the LFA 2021 brief: ‘care’, our benches were designed with the intention to lift the spirits of local communities, workers and passers by with they’re bright and playful shapes.
What a joyful sight to see, now we’re back again on the streets!
We based our designs on the childhood nursery rhyme ‘Oranges and Lemons’ which is also historically and geographically linked to this area of the city.
